We’re All Wonders

If you loved the hit book Wonder, about a boy with differences trying to be accepted in a world of conformity, look out for the spin-off picture book – We’re All Wonders – for younger kids. Ten-year-old Auggie Pullman’s deformity is never really described in RJ Palacio’s bestseller except to say that everyone who saw him was silenced, so its hard to imagine how a whole picture book will work. Early reviews are divided on the cartoon style but if the anti-bullying message of ‘choose kind’  gets across we’re happy. Look out for the movie of the original book too – out in April and starring Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson and Jacob Tremblay as Auggie.
